Mandate: The Communications Ministry acts in both a proactive manner, developing material on its own initiative, as well as in a supportive role, helping other ministries develop materials about their activities. This ensures that our parish, guests, and visitors as well as our wider community are aware of the worship, spiritual, and our events. Promotion is done via Facebook, Twitter, our website, and various local media sources.

On a monthly basis the “St. James’ Journey” Newsletter and Pastoral Care Note for shut-ins is produced and distributed.

Our weekly activities and events are Sunday Worship Services; Bible Study; Centering Prayer and Mediation; Pennywise Thrift Shop’ Loonie Lunch; Free Community Sunday Breakfast; Thursday Tea at Three Zoom Chat.

Special Projects are Kenya Mission; ACW Bake and Craft Sale; St. Nick’s Children Shopping Day; Coldest Night of the Year and our Wednesdays Arts in the Summer; High Tea and Fashion Show; FundScrip and Food Bank Sundays.
